What do you get? How does dx/dt compare to the function vx(t) you got from your best fit line from the Vx vs. Take the derivative of the best fit function for x(t). Note that the Logger Pro "Time Offset" set the initial position and initial velocity at the time of interest, to at the origin, rather than t= 0 at the first frame.

This will produce a table of data (time, position, and velocity) and graphs of position and velocity vs. Place points on the yellow dot on the cart for the remaining frames of the video. Grab the yellow dot on the axis that shows the direction of positive x and rotate it around until the x axis goes up the ramp as shown in the figure on the right Obtain x, y and t data by using the "Add Point" tool near the top right of the movie window. Place the origin right at the yellow dot on the cart. Then rewind and step the video forward until the cart has just left the hand and no longer touches it. Watch the movie a couple of times to get an idea of how the cart moves. Use the first frame of the video to set the distance scale.
